Fire burns home in Cherokee Shores area of Payne Springs
PAYNE SPRINGS, Texas (KETK) – Payne Springs Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire burning a trailer home in the Cherokee Shores area on Saturday night.

According to Payne Springs Fire Rescue (PSFR), their volunteer firefighters were called to the home at around 9:23 p.m. on Saturday. PSFR Engine 1 arrived and the crew fought the fire from the inside of the home.
PSFR said no one was found inside the home and the fire was extinguished. One resident was taken to be treated for a medical emergency by UT HealthEMS.
The Gun Barrel City Fire Department, the Eustace Fire Department, the Long Cove Fire Department, the Henderson County Sheriff's Office, the Henderson County Fire Marshal's Office and the American Red Cross also responded to the scene.
