She previously took aim at Trump for his disparaging comments about Texas Sen. Ted Cruz's wife, referring to the president's statements as 'ridiculous and disrespectful.' While some online commentators revelled in the cringeworthy moment, others were quick to rush to the president's defense. 'This is for everyone pushing the 'He snubbed her' BS,' one person wrote. Donald Trump appeared to awkwardly leave Cheryl Hines hanging when she reached out to shake hands with him at a UFC 314 match in Miami on Saturday (12 April). The US president warmly greeted Hines's husband, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, who was standing directly next to her. But as Hines prepared to shake Trump's hand, he walked straight past her. Hines, an Emmy-nominated star best known for her role in the hit sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm, was unable to hide her disappointment as she frowned, stuck out her bottom lip and turned to her husband in exasperation, who simply smiled back at her. Trump arrived at Miami's Kaseya centre on Saturday and made a cageside appearance alongside his three grandchildren: Kai, 17, Donald J. It comes during a period of intense scrutiny for the president after he imposed the steepest American tariffs on imports in over a century, which has been dubbed a 'major blow' to the world economy by experts. Speaking about the standing ovation he received to reporters accompanying him aboard Air Force One, Trump said: 'It says we're doing a good job. If we weren't doing a good job, we'd get the opposite.' The president watched Alexander Volkanovski reclaim his featherweight title, defeating Brazilian-Mexican fighter Diego Lopes for the vacant belt. Henkel Capital S.A. de C.V., a Mexican subsidiary of the German consumer goods giant Henkel, has initiated a voluntary recall of 1,068 units of its Tec Italy Shampoo Totale due to potential contamination with Klebsiella oxytoca bacteria. Announced on Tuesday, the recall affects products distributed in the United States through distributors in New York and California, with possible further distribution to other states. The recalled Tec Italy brand Totale Shampoo is packaged in a 33.81 fl. oz./1 L, green plastic bottle marked with Lot # 1G27542266 on the side of the bottle. The UPC code is 7501438375850. According to the CDC, exposure to this bacteria can cause pneumonia, bloodstream infections, wound or surgical site infections and meningitis, with potentially more severe reactions in individuals with compromised immune systems. As of the announcement date, no reports of harm or injury related to the product have been received, according to the brand. Consumers who have purchased the applicable 33.81 fl. oz./1 L bottles of Tec Italy Shampoo Totale are advised to stop using it immediately and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. 'Tec Italy seeks to minimize all inconvenience this may cause consumers and are committed to their complete satisfaction,' said the announcement of the brand. Henkel is conducting the recall with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's knowledge. Founded in 1876, Henkel became a leader in the industrial and consumer businesses worldwide. In North America, the company's portfolio also includes Schwarzkopf, Dial, Snuggle and Persil, among others. Talk about family drama. Jack Schlossberg took to his Instagram on Thursday to share some choice words for actress Cheryl Hines, who is also his cousin Robert F. Last week, the first U.S. death from measles since 2015 was confirmed by state officials in Texas when a child who wasn't vaccinated died from the highly contagious — but preventable — respiratory disease, the Associated Press reported. The death was part of an ongoing outbreak in the state. And on Thursday, health officials in New Mexico announced that an unvaccinated adult who was infected with measles had died, though the cause of death has yet to be confirmed, ABC News reported. When asked about the measles outbreak last week, Kennedy Jr. was initially dismissive, calling it 'not unusual.' However, he backtracked shortly after in an editorial published by Fox News on Sunday, saying the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine 'is crucial to avoiding potentially deadly disease.' As for Hines, while she has previously expressed disdain for Trump since his first term, she decided to stand by her husband when he dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and endorsed the now-president. She also hasn't publicly shared her viewpoints on vaccines, though she told The Hollywood Reporter last year that she did receive the COVID-19 vaccine, unlike Kennedy Jr. 'I did what I needed to do to work,' the Curb Your Enthusiasm actress said at the time. 'If I wasn't working, would things be different? Maybe. I'm not the kind of person that gets the flu shot.'
