Jannik Sinner denies he's in a relationship with Russian model ex of Oscar winner Adrien Brody ahead of return from doping ban
has denied he is in a relationship with Russian model Lara Leito ahead of his return to tennis from his doping ban.
The 23-year-old, who claimed victory at the Australian Open earlier this year, has been serving a suspension running from February 9 until May 4 after reaching a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) over his two positive doping tests last year.
This week, he is set to return to action at his home event, as Italy welcomes a home world No 1 for the Italian Open for the first time ever.
The three-time Grand Slam champion has prepared for his return by training in Monte Carlo over the last few weeks, where the star was pictured with a reported new love interest - Leito.
Italian outlet Chi Magazine pictured Sinner, 23, with 31-year-old model Leito at the Monte Carlo Country Club. Leito reportedly greeted Sinner's coaching team and was seen filming the star as she watched him train from the stands.
Sinner himself, though, has now rubbished the claims, insisting he is in fact not in a relationship despite previous reports.
Sinner had dated fellow tennis star Anna Kalinskaya, but reports claimed their relationship came to an end in November just two months after their kiss after his US Open triumph
'There's a whole a lot of attention, also off the court,' Sinner said ahead of his return to playing. And I was also very surprised to see some pictures, which are nothing serious.
'I'm not in a relationship. So, whoever is asking, it's all good.'
Leito was reportedly seen hugging Sinner at the end of the session and was later leaving his Audi RS6 ABT Legacy Edition car with the pair exchanging a kiss.
Leito had previously dated two-time Oscar winning actor Adrien Brody for six years, who she had met at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012.
The Russian model, who has previously featured in both Vogue and L'Officiel, was previously linked to French actor Olivier Martinez.
Sinner's reported romance with Leito, who attended the Monte Carlo Masters earlier this month, followed his split from fellow tennis star Anna Kalinskaya. The powerhouse couple were reported to have taken a break in November, amid an apparent 'crisis' in order to 'better understand their relationship and future'.
Sinner and Kalinskaya were believed to have started dating in April 2024 after meeting during practice sessions together.
They had regularly been seen supporting each other at matches, most notably when Kalinskaya was in Sinner's box and the couple exchanged a kiss following his triumph at the US Open last year.
