Notre Dame football player set to be part of MLB team NIL program

Notre Dame football player set to be part of MLB team NIL program Drayk Bowen joins a former teammate and a Notre Dame soccer player in the White Sox' NIL program. The CHISOX Athlete Class of 2025 😮‍💨 — Chicago White Sox (@whitesox) April 22, 2025 Notre Dame is well represented among this year's ChiSox Athlete Class of 2025. The ChiSox Athlete Class is a name, image and likeness program run by Major League Baseball's Chicago White Sox. Program athletes get career mentorship, branding opportunities, social-media promotion, a professional photo shoot and a custom White Sox jersey, plus a hat and other swag. First-year athletes in the program get the chance to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at an MLB game while second-year athletes will get interviewed on-air during a White Sox broadcast on Chicago Sports Network. Players picked are generally from the Chicago area or northern Illinois/northern Indiana. Fighting Irish linebacker Drayk Bowen joins the program this year, and Notre Dame women's soccer player Berkley Mensik returns. Former Notre Dame football center Pat Coogan, now with Indiana, is also returning. The Irish have been well represented in the past, with Coogan and Mensik being picked along with former Fighting Irish defensive lineman Rylie Mills in 2024. Mills is now preparing for the 2025 NFL draft.
