Archdiocese of Chicago to host Celebration Mass at Rate Field for Pope Leo XIV

The video above is from a previous report. CHICAGO (WGN) – A celebration of the election of Pope Leo XIV, the first pope born in the United States and Chicago, will be held at Rate Field in June. The Archdiocese of Chicago said the celebration will be held at Rate Field, the home of the Chicago White Sox, on Saturday afternoon, June 14. 'Pope Leo XIV's message of peace, unity and the key to a meaningful life have touched hearts across the globe. This celebration is an extraordinary opportunity for people from the city and beyond to come together in shared pride for one of our own.' Pope Leo XIV, born Robert Prevost, grew up in south suburban Dolton and his childhood home is now up for auction.
