Martin County man sentenced for distributing child pornography
NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) — A North Carolina man was sentenced to more than 16 years in prison followed by 30 years of supervised release for Distribution of Child Pornography on Wednesday. Alexander Madison Chambers, age 26 of Martin County, was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security. An undercover agent from Homeland Security saw that Chambers was messaging on an application distributing child sexual abuse materials in a group chat. The under-cover agent began chatting in private messages with Chambers, where Chambers claimed to have sexually abused a child with whom he had contact. Additionally, Chambers expressed a desire to sexually abuse the undercover agent's purported 4-year-old child. Agents executed a search warrant on Chambers' residence in Williamston, which resulted in numerous devices being seized. National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tip leads to Wisconsin man's arrest for child porn
OAK GROVE, Wis. (WFRV) – A man from Fond du Lac County was given a $3,000 cash bond after an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation led to his arrest on multiple Possession of Child Pornography charges. According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, deputies were recently assigned an ICAC investigation that originated in the Town of Oak Grove after a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Wisconsin man sentenced for attacking DNR warden As a result of the investigation, 38-year-old Alan J. Douglas was booked into the Dodge County Jail. Charges were subsequently requested from the District Attorney's Office for Possession of Child Pornography. Douglas, who is from Ripon, had his initial court appearance on March 3 and was held on a $3,000 cash bond. Court records show that Douglas faces 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography; each a Class D Felony. Fond du Lac man convicted of reckless homicide for role in 2022 overdose death
(WFRV) – A Fond du Lac man was reportedly convicted for his role in a 2022 overdose death. According to Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney, Jeremy Stoll was convicted of reckless homicide for his role in a 2022 overdose death. Stoll reportedly pleaded no contest to first degree reckless homicide and was found guilty. A sentencing hearing was scheduled for June 2 at 2 p.m. Wisconsin man arrested, officially charged with Possession of Child Pornography following cyper tip The overdose happened back in June of 2022. Officials say the autopsy showed the cause of death to be mixed drug toxicity, which included fentanyl, norfentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine. The detectives did fantastic work continuing to run down leads throughout this case, which helped lead to the defendant pleading no contest and taking responsibility for his role in the delivery of fentanyl that contributed to the victim's death.
