Tennessee Titans sign fourth-round WR Chimere Dike to rookie contract
The Tennessee Titans finalized a contract with another one of their nine-man 2025 NFL draft class on Friday by coming to terms with fourth-round selection WR Chimere Dike on a four-year deal. An explosive wideout with the ability to challenge defenses with his deep speed, Dike is versatile and is willing to do all of the dirty work for an offense, and add a dimension to the offense that the team lacked in 2024. The Titans had limited production out of the slot in 2024, and Dike appears to be a significant upgrade over Tyler Boyd. Advertisement Dike could also add a spark on special teams. Proving to be a dynamic return man who could give Tennessee the type of weapon they lacked last season. So far in OTAs, he has been turning heads, is developing a strong chemistry with Cam Ward, and has the look of a player who could make a difference. Now that Dike has signed his rookie contract, that leaves second-round pick Femi Oladejo as the only member of their nine-man draft class left unsigned. With the Titans heading into their mandatory minicamp, they would likely want to get that contract done. 6 Tennessee Titans who could make 2028 Olympic men's flag football roster
6 Tennessee Titans who could make 2028 Olympic men's flag football roster For the first time in NFL history, owners voted unanimously to allow players to participate in the flag football competition at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, California. They limit player participation to one player per team, plus each team's designated international player. "I think this news represents a great opportunity for the sport, for the NFL," Commissioner Roger Goodell told reporters. "It's truly the next step in making NFL football and football a global sport for men and women of all ages and all opportunities across the globe. We think that's the right thing to do, and this is a big step in accomplishing that." The International Federation of American Football and USA Football also have to approve the decision before it can happen, and the NFL is working with the Players Association and the aforementioned organizations to bring this to fruition. The NFL also has stipulations on scheduling conflicts as training camps tend to take place in mid-to-late July, and the 2028 Olympic Games will be held July 14-30, 2028. While specific eligibility requirements have not been published yet, no previous experience is required. Each player will try out for his (or her) country's team, and if selected, represent that country at the Olympics. That said, we thought it would be fun to explore the potential players from the Tennessee Titans who might join Team USA in flag football competition. WR Chimere Dike If you've ever seen a flag football game, you already know that speed is the name of the game. Most of the players on this list are fast, and that includes Chimere Dike. Dike ran a 4.34 in the 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Combine. He's the fastest receiver the Titans have, and with hands to match, he's a solid fit for any flag football team. RB Tyjae Spears Tyjae Spears ran the 40 in 4.47 seconds and is the fastest running back on the team. But his speed is only one aspect of his game that makes him a great fit for flag football. Spears is elusive; he can catch the ball if needed, and once he breaks free, he's hard to stop. The only thing impacting his ability to represent the US at the Olympics is his health. While he hasn't had huge injuries, the nagging ones can still be problematic. WR Calvin Ridley Calvin Ridley may not be the fastest receiver on the team, but he catches 61% of the passes thrown his way and averages 13.9 yards per catch. Add in 40 touchdowns over six seasons and an average of four yards after the catch, and he's definitely a guy to keep your eye on. LB Arden Key The secret weapon of the Titans' defense, Arden Key has improved each year he's played in the NFL. The last two seasons with the Titans have been his best, and flag football still requires defenders. Key had 6.5 sacks and 10 stuffs in 2024 for the Titans, and he'll have no problem using those hands to grab flags instead of pushing through the line. Or, S Amani Hooker The Titans' 2024 defensive campaign would look very different if Amani Hooker wasn't on the field. Hooker played in 14 games and recorded 71 tackles (47 solo), two forced fumbles, five interceptions for 68 yards, nine passes defensed, and 8.5 stuffs. He was everywhere on the field, making plays and doing his best to get the defense off the field. His quickness and agility make him a prime target for flag football. CB Jarvis Brownlee Jr. Some would expect to see L'Jarius Sneed or Darrell Baker Jr. in this spot, but with Sneed's pending legal issues, it's hard to say what this season is even going to look like, let alone where he will be in three years. And Baker wasn't a standout in 2024, where Jarvis Brownlee Jr. stepped up to the plate and owned the cornerback position in his rookie season when both Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie went down with injuries. This is a kid who will make an impact on any team, and he's quick enough to go against the speedy receivers and running backs.

Which NFL teams have the most former Wisconsin Badgers?
Which NFL teams have the most former Wisconsin Badgers? The 2025 NFL draft and free agency have concluded. The league's 32 teams are now holding their rookie minicamps in advance of OTAs and further offseason activity in June and July. As things currently stand, there are 35 former Wisconsin Badgers on NFL rosters. That total is just direct Wisconsin products and does not include former transfers, such as quarterback Graham Mertz (Houston Texans, via Florida), wide receiver Chimere Dike (Tennessee Titans, via Florida) and Jordan Turner (Denver Broncos, via Michigan State). The number likely won't stand for long, as several players signed with NFL teams as undrafted free agents or as rookie minicamp tryouts. Just 27 of those 35 former Badgers enter their respective offseason programs with a roster spot somewhat guaranteed. Of course, even that total can shrink when rosters are finalized in August. As of May 19, there are 10 NFL teams with more than one Wisconsin product on their offseason roster. Another 11 have just one, including the Atlanta Falcons (Jack Nelson), Buffalo Bills (David Edwards), Houston Texans (Dare Ogunbowale), Denver Broncos (Matt Henningsen), Kansas City Chiefs (Leo Chenal), Philadelphia Eagles (Zack Baun) and San Francisco 49ers (Tanner Mordecai). Here are the 10 teams with two or more former Badgers, ranked in ascending order. What NFL teams have the most former Wisconsin Badgers on their offseason roster after the draft? Florida football WR Chimere Dike selected by Tennessee Titans in 2025 NFL draft
Florida football WR Chimere Dike selected by Tennessee Titans in 2025 NFL draft Wide receiver Chimere Dike has been selected by the Tennessee Titans with the first pick in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The former Florida football wide out transferred to the Gators for the 2024 season after four strong years with the Wisconsin Badgers. In his lone season in Gainesville, he made an instant impact and quickly became quarterback DJ Lagway's favorite target. Dike led the team in receptions (42) and racked up 783 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also excelled as Florida's primary punt returner, averaging a league-best 16.5 yards per return in SEC play. A team captain and dependable leader, Dike showed up in the biggest moments. He posted four 90+ yard receiving games, including standout performances against the Texas Longhorns and Tulane Green Wave in the Gasparilla Bowl. His late-game heroics against the Tennessee Volunteers–hauling in the game-tying touchdown with just 34 seconds left–cemented his reputation as a clutch performer. Beyond the box score, Dike also shined during the pre-draft process. He participated in the NFL Combine, Reese's Senior Bowl and Hula Bowl, showcasing his value to NFL scouts. Prior to his time with the Gators, Dike starred at Wisconsin, leading the Badgers in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches in 2022. Across his college career, he totaled 139 receptions for 2,255 yards and 11 touchdowns while also contributing as a return specialist. Dike offers versatility, leadership and big-play ability–all traits that made him an attractive option for the Titans and he'll be a nice addition for a new-look Tennessee offense led by Cam Ward.
