Rare Chinese gorals newest additions to Beardsley Zoo
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Chinese Gorals are the newest species making their debut at Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo, according to a press release.
11-month-old red panda joins Beardsley Zoo
Gorals are a rare and fascinating mountain species native to Asia that have similarities to a goat and antelope.
The gorals, a male and a female, are coming from Kansas and Nebraska. The pair will be temporarily housed at the former tiger habitat before moving to a special space next to the red pandas.
