Pratt Street Sounds filling the air of downtown Hartford again
HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Pratt Street Sounds returned to the downtown area Friday, providing the sweet sounds of summer in Hartford with a live music series every week.
Two performers or groups will play their music each week, pairing local artists from around the state in a wide variety of genres and sounds.

'This is an extremely eclectic series,' Pratt Street Sounds organizer Chip McCabe said. 'There's Americana and Folk today, but next week it's hip-hop and R&B. We've got all sorts of stuff that we try to bring out here — indie rock, funk, jazz, blues, all sorts of stuff.'
Pratt Street Sounds is free and open to the public. You can check it out every Friday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. until the end of September.
