Sam Thompson has reportedly split from his Love Island bombshell girlfriend Samie Elishi after a brief romance - with the pair parting ways after just a few weeks of dating. TV personality Sam Thompson's recent romance with Love Island's Samie Elishi appears to have come to an abrupt end, despite the relationship only just beginning. Made in Chelsea's Sam and Samie were spotted sharing a public kiss just weeks ago, but it's now been suggested that their initial spark has 'fizzled out'. This marks Sam's second breakup in a short span of time, following the conclusion of his five-year relationship with Zara McDermott. Rumours are rife that Sam and Samie have ceased their flirty Instagram exchanges and haven't been seen together publicly for some time. However, it was Samie's lack of support for Sam's recent autism diagnosis announcement that has been perceived as a clear indication that they're no longer an item. Despite this, they continue to follow each other on Instagram, hinting at a possible amicable split. Samie has since jetted off for a sun-drenched getaway with Space NK, joined by fellow ex-Love Islanders Maura Higgins, Amber Gill and Lana Jenkins. Yet, Sam is noticeably absent from the comments section of her Instagram posts. Their relationship kicked off shortly after Samie returned from South Africa, where she participated in Love Island: All Stars. Unfortunately, she failed to find a match during the show, despite trying to form a bond with Luca Bish. The bombshell breakup has emerged merely weeks after Samie first opened up about her burgeoning romance with Sam. The 25 year old remained rather guarded while discussing the budding relationship on the 'Chloe Mediumship' podcast. Reflecting on her prior romantic encounters, Samie admitted she often experienced an adverse gut reaction. Yet, this time around, she indicated that things felt markedly different. When queried about whether she harboured the same intuition, Samie shared: "There's been no bad stuff at the minute so yeah I suppose it is all positive right now. It's early days." Sam's newfound closeness with Samie arose not long after his ex Zara McDermott's reveal of her relationship with One Direction's Louis Tomlinson. Zara and Louis' relationship appears to be flourishing, as evidenced by their recent intimate getaway in Costa Rica. One Direction favourite Louis, 33, and the Love Island star, 28, ignited relationship speculation at the beginning of this year after they were spotted having dinner and spending the night together at The Suffolk in Aldeburgh, following reports of Zara's growing closeness with the singer's half-siblings. The couple flew to the US together earlier this month, following a cosy dinner at a Suffolk hotel. During their trip, they posted identical photos from a Stereophonics concert, and Zara subtly hinted at their relationship by including Louis' arm in a breakfast photo. Zara and Louis have yet to publicly confirm their relationship, but they've been spotted engaging in public displays of affection, including holding hands during their American outing.

Samie Elishi has opened up about her relationship with Sam Thompson, just weeks after the pair confirmed their romance with a steamy kiss. The former Made in Chelsea star, 32, split from his girlfriend of five years Zara McDermott, 28, earlier this year. As Zara has confirmed her romance with One Direction star Louis Tomlinson, it seems that things have been going from strength to strength with Sam's love life as Samie, 25, has opened up about their romance. Speaking on the podcast Chloe Mediumship, Samie said: 'I've had gut feelings with guys before. I've had a couple of relationships where I've known it was never it. Like this is gonna come to an end, I'll have something telling me every day it's coming to an end, this isn't for you. 'You put it to the back of your mind and then you start noticing the chaos increase. It's like the universe saying I'm gonna blow you both up if you just do not separate. Then I'm like if I only listened all those months ago when I got that first message.' Chloe then asked her: 'Obviously, you don't have to talk about it too much, but the guy you're currently speaking to, do you have that gut feeling? Like do you think it's gonna be really good?' Coyly, Samie revealed: 'There's been no bad stuff at the minute, so yeah, I suppose it is all positive right now. It's early days.' In early May, Sam and Samie were caught kissing at Olivia Attwood's birthday bash in London. Sam was seen chatting with Samie throughout the night in the smoking area before they departed together to the after-party at Stringfellows. Sam and his new love interest left the venue at around 1am arm in arm, before kissing while waiting for their taxi to arrive. It appears in the next episode of his podcast, Staying Relevant which Sam co-hosts with Pete Wicks, Sam is set to speak more about the images of him packing on the PDA. A source also told The Sun that things are going well between Sami and Sam, but emphasised it's 'early days'. 'Sam found the split and its public fall-out very hard, but Samie has put a smile back on his face. 'She is a stunning girl and he's told a few pals about her. He seems excited.' The source added: 'Obviously it's early days, but clearly he has a thing for Love Islanders!' In a different episode of the Staying Relevant podcast, Sam revealed that he has gone on his first date since his split from Zara. More Trending He said at the time: 'I went on the first date that I've had since I've been single recently, and I was so nervous that I messaged Pete, and it was the sweetest thing ever, but Pete basically sent me a list of what I had to do.' Samie is best known for entering the Love Island villa as a bombshell in 2023 and being coupled up with Kai Fagan and Tom Clare. And I was so nervous that I messaged Pete. It was the sweetest thing ever, Pete basically sent me a list of what I had to do.' 'This is my first date that I've had since I've been single. I'm on my way to the date right, I've called Pete and I'm nervous and he's then messaged me afterwards going, "Don't overthink it mate just enjoy it. Just have a good time",' he went on. 'I went, "Thanks mate, do I wait for her inside or is that overthinking it?" and he went "Yep that's overthinking it exactly. Go inside, get yourself a drink and chill. Staying outside like a weirdo on the street. Text her and ask her what she'd like to drink and order hers so it's sat on the table waiting for her." 'I then replied going, "Such a good idea! Me getting advice, this is great!" He goes, "Then when she arrives say hello and all that jazz and cheers to good times and a good date." 'He then went: 'Look her in the eyes when you cheers, but not like a creep. Tell her she looks stunning. I mean you know this stuff - it's the basics". I reply going, "No I don't".' Laughing, Pete then praised his friend, saying: 'I then get the phone call post-date and it sounds like you handled it very, very well. Very well. Are you nervous about dating again?' Sam admitted: 'Absolutely terrified. But you know what? There's so many things that Pete gave me in that little snippet of advice. 'And I want to say, this is what you guys may not see. This is like behind the scenes, me just actually getting some advice from Pete and being nervous and stuff. 'And that's what Pete's so good at. He literally gave me a play by play of what to do. She walks in, I gave her a kiss on the cheek, I had a glass of wine waiting for her, I told her she looked lovely, I went "Here's to a great date" and we sat down and we were off at the races.' As Pete asked: 'But I feel like you know that stuff, surely?', Sam insisted he was clueless, saying: 'No idea. Pete I was going to hug her, I was going to wait outside for her, I was going to open her cab door for her. Bit keen.' Opening up on his nerves, saying: 'I've never been more nervous for like those kind of events. [Dating is] fun when you know she hasn't like recoiled. Like it's fun when you're like, "Oh okay actually this is going okay." That's when it becomes fun. 'The first part when she walks in... I haven't even told you that I was on the phone with producer Pippa after you had messaged me, being like "I'm nervous, I'm nervous." 'And then the lady in question walked in and I went, "Oh my God, she walked in, she looks beautiful." And she heard me say that and then I hung the phone up.' Pete replied: 'F***ing hell. I mean I imagine she quite liked that. But still, listen Sam's in his f***ing dating era! That's why he's always dressed so well and looks so good.'
