12 hurt in fight at Charlotte McDonald's
MEDIC says 12 people were hurt in an incident Tuesday morning at a McDonald's in southwest Charlotte. It happened just after 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of S. Tryon Boulevard and Pressley Road. MEDIC says they were called for an assault. Three people were taken to the hospital for their injuries, MEDIC said. None of the victims were immediately identified. Chopper 9 SkyZoom flew over the scene and spotted MEDIC's Mass Casualty bus in the parking lot. It's not clear what led to the assault. We're working on getting more details. SWAT, deputies respond to standoff at Clover home
SWAT, York County Sheriff's Office Deputies, and negotiators responded to a home in Clover for a person barricaded in a home. Officials said they are at a home on Windsong Forest Road on Monday afternoon. The incident is isolated to one home, according to officials. Two-alarm fire destroys building near Cabarrus-Mecklenburg County line
A two-alarm fire gutted a large building under construction Monday morning near Interstate 485 and the Cabarrus-Mecklenburg County line. Chopper 9 SkyZoom was over what was left of the building in a construction site located near an apartment complex close to Rocky River Road. Multiple fire departments responded. 2 burned in apparent explosion on farm
Two people were burned in a possible explosion at about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at a farm in Alexander County, officials said. 2 hurt after house explosion in Union County Chopper 9 SkyZoom was over the scene of a farm on Rocky Springs Road in Hiddenite. Two people were airlifted by medical helicopters. The cause of the explosion has not been released.
