Chris Sabo named this year's Reds Findlay Market Opening Day Parade grand marshal
CINCINNATI, Ohio (WDTN) – A member of the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame, third baseman Chris 'Spuds' Sabo, was announced as this year's grand marshal for the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade.
Sabo was the 1988 National League Rookie of the Year and a 1990 World Series Champion.
He also spent time as the Dayton Dragons hitting coach with the High-A squad here in the Gem City during the 2025 season.
There will also be a Bengals alumni float with Ken Anderson, David Fulcher. Anthony Munoz will also be in the parade on his own float for his foundation. Bengals' Ted Karras will also have his own float for Cincy Hats.
The Reds plan to honor the legendary Pete Rose with a special 'Pete Rose Day' on May 14.
Cincinnati will take on the San Francisco Giants on March 27 at Great American Ball Park, kicking off the 2025 MLB season.
The annual Findlay Market Opening Day Parade will begin at12 p.m.
