Dorset Council reported cleaning 15 tonnes of litter along A338
More than 15 tonnes (15,000kg) of litter have been collected from a busy road during a joint council clean-up Council said its highways crew worked with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council along the A338 Spur Road, between the Ashley Heath and Cooper Dean local authority said the enormous amount of rubbish had been dumped "in just a few months since our last clean-up in mid-November".It said the "inconsiderate" dumping of rubbish was "not only an eyesore" but also "a disaster for wildlife and the environment". Flood-risk park home residents in Bournemouth urged to evacuate
People living on a residential park at risk of flooding were advised to evacuate overnight due to rapidly rising river homes at Iford Bridge Home Park near the River Stour were under threat following Storm Eowyn and Storm power at the site was turned off on Tuesday evening with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council urging residents to leave as a precautionary measure.A flood warning remains in place.
