Will Paris Saint-Germain win Champions League again next year? | The Cooligans Yahoo Sports contributors Christian Polanco and Alexis Guerrero take an early look at the top teams in next year's Champions League. Hear the full conversation on the 'The Cooligans' podcast - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, or wherever you listen. View more Video Transcript The season is now officially over with Champions League being decided. Advertisement So let's look forward. Let's take a look at some of the clubs, some of the big clubs that have qualified for next year's Champions League, and decide what it is that they either need or what it is that they should be looking forward to. Let's start with the winner, PSG, Christian, what are you thinking? We might have a back to back Champions League winner because PSG were so unbelievably. And and it's hard. A 5-0 result makes it like, were PSG that good or were Inter Milan that bad? And I think it's a it's a mix of both of those with the, the dominance they showed the confidence of not just their, you know, quote unquote star players like even the, the, everybody contributed. Advertisement Enrique is the new pet. I think he is ushering in a new style of football, a new era of football, right? Inter Milan, obviously. Loss in the in the final, you have to apologize. It is that bad. This is a scar that will follow them forever. Liverpool fans obviously wanting to win the Premier League for a long time. They won a couple of years ago and now I think they can win it all. Winning your domestic league and then winning these cup competitions require different mindsets, different preparation. You have to have the consistency to finish, uh, uh, you know, to win. Uh, during the season they seem like they're gonna be a stronger squad than last season that they, that this is their opportunity to win it all. Advertisement Yeah for me it's proven bappe damn, you moved from PSG access, bro. I need to get out of here. I can't win with y'all fools. And then you're holding me down, man. I need to, I need to breathe a little bit, bro. I need to lift trouble. Oh, you won the lottery. And then nothing. And then they win. Arsenal, why don't you go first? I'm gonna say, look, simply put, sign a striker and then talk to me because there is not much else. I think they had a great Champions League run. They, they faced APSG that we saw how dominant they were. The, the quality was just a little too much for Arsenal, but I. I think Arsenal that far behind. Advertisement If, if they're not gonna do uh some work this summer to sign a, a, a, a real game-changing striker, don't talk to me. Don't, I don't wanna hear about your ambitions to do whatever. Convince players to sign for your team. Tell them about the project, get them excited, and they should see you as a uh uh a contender.

PSG dominate Inter Milan to win Champions League final
Yahoo Sports contributor Christian Polanco is joined by CBS sports' Stefano Fusaro to discuss the UEFA Champions League final that saw PSG dominate Inter Milan 5-0. Hear the full conversation on the 'The Cooligans' podcast - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, or wherever you listen. View more Video Transcript First thoughts, Stefano. Advertisement First thoughts is it's historic, right? It's a historic loss for Inter Milan. Uh, this, we haven't seen anything like this. No team in the Champions League era has ever conceded 5 goals in a final. We haven't seen that in any European final since 1962. So, I mean, this is historic. I don't think anybody expected this. I think there was definitely a lot of people who had PSG as this dominant force attacking. But everyone kind of wanted to say, especially prediction wise, everyone wanted to say, oh, but it's Inter's defensive prowess, a fantastic performance from PSG. They are miles ahead of this In side, and you saw it right from the start, right? Advertisement It was, it was, it wasn't, it wasn't a game from the beginning. For the final to turn out the way it did, it, it felt like, uh, you know, PSG is facing a, a team, uh, you know, the champions of Romania or something like that like how I, I, it's. It's hard to believe, especially with the, the, the matches that uh um you know, that that Inter Milan had to get to this final, especially most recent, obviously in in like Barcelona, to be able to put in that kind of performance and not just, you could argue tactically they got things wrong because they gave up as many goals as as they did, but you know, to find the heart, to find the faith, to score the goals that they did and get to this final and just immediately not show up.
