Vehicle crashes into South Abington Twp. Starbucks
A vehicle crashed into the front of the Starbucks in South Abington Twp. on Wednesday afternoon, damaging the front of the coffee shop. Virginia Robbins, 75, of Jamesville, N.Y. was parking a 2025 Honda CRV hybrid in front of the building on Northern Boulevard just after 1:30 p.m., Police Chief Paul Wolfe said. When she went to hit the brake, her foot accidentally hit the accelerator, causing the vehicle to hit the glass windows, he continued. Neither Robbins, the passenger in her vehicle, Robert Van Glick, 76, or any of the customers or employees in the store were injured, Wolfe said. However, he said the shop sustained 'a decent amount of damage' and was closed. * The smashed glass doors of the Starbucks on Northern Boulevard in South Abington Twp. Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
