Florence man identified after crash involving 18-wheeler in Lauderdale County
LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A Florence man has been identified after a fatal crash involving an 18-wheeler took place on Wednesday.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said that Christopher K Calvert, 55, of Florence died on the scene when his vehicle was involved in a crash with a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia tractor-trailer.

ALEA said that the driver of the 18-wheeler was injured and transported to North Alabama Medical Center for treatment.
The crash occurred on Alabama 20 around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The crash remains under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division.
