We're coming for you' Notes Stevens sent to victim repeatedly The victim said she had lived in constant fear over the past five years with severe threats that prompted the DCF office in Greenfield to develop a safety plan for her and her colleagues. 'DCF workers deserve protection from the courts of the Commonwealth. None of us should fear for our lives and the lives of our family simply for doing our job,' she said. 'We deserve better, our families deserve better and the children of the Commonwealth who are at risk deserve better.' Stevens was found guilty of criminal harassment, stalking, witness intimidation, andunlawful wiretapping. He was sentenced on Wednesday to two to three years in state prison on the stalking and witness intimidation convictions be followed by five years of probation for the conviction on illegal wiretapping. During his probation, he is ordered to stay away from the victim and wear a GPS monitoring device. 'He was aggrieved by a lawful process and he decided to target a frontline worker, verbally andpsychologically abusing her. He used his words as a weapon,' said Gagne. 'He maintains what he has done was completely within the law and his failure to appreciate the wrongness of his conduct makes a stiff penalty warranted.'
