Father's Day Gift Guide 2025: Pink Wine

It's more traditional to gift a rosé wine for Mother's Day, but there are plenty of dads (mine, included!) who prefer pink wines. Rosé all day is even better in June's hotter weather than May, and it's a wine style that's perfect for sipping beside a grill. Here are some fantastic wines to give your dad (but don't tell mine - he needs to be surprised). LEOS Cuvée Augusta Rosé, $18.99 This is a smooth, smooth rosé with a beautiful nose, brimming with floral notes and white wine is crafted with three grapes: Grenache, which gives it structure and aromatics; Bourboulenc, which brings a roundness to the wine, and Vermentino, which gives it liveliness and a fresh finish. This is a fun rosé to drink. E. Guigal E. Guigal Côtes du Rhône Rosé, $19 This Côtes du Rhône Rosé exudes clarity and brilliance, with a fresh and expressive nose reveals red fruits and citrus notes, including raspberry and redcurrant. It's a very well balanced rosé that your father will appreciate. Ingrid Groiss Rosé Ried Hasenhaide Rosé Ried Hasenhaide, $22 This Austrian wine is a gentle rosé. It boasts a soft pink color, a subtle aroma of berries and gentle lemon freshness. It's perfect to drink with your dad on a nice, summer night. This wine is perfect for sipping by the pool. Château D'Esclans Château d'Eclans Les Clans, $95 This lovely rosé is approachable when it's young, but it is a rosé wine that can be aged. Exotic with red berry aromas, toasty hazelnut and black licorice notes, this wine has a ripe pineapple and ginger taste on the palate. In a blind tasting, this rosé has sometimes been guessed that it is a white Burgundy wine, but it's an exquisite rosé. CHANDON Rosé Brut Magnum, $65 If your dad deserves to be wowed, consider gifting him an extra large magnum of CHANDON Rosé Brut. Made in the traditional champagne method, this sparkling wine sings of delicate strawberry and cherry aromas. It's perfect to pair with some eggs bennies this Father's Day. Barton & Guestier Crémant de Bordeaux, $21.99 This lovely French sparkling wine is crafted from Cabernet Franc grapes. Made in the traditional French champagne method, it's aged for a year, resulting in a gorgeous pink color with fresh, red fruit aromas. It's a lovely wine to toast your dad. B&G also make a delicious still wine, a Rosé D'Anjou that's won quite a few awards. This Spanish rosado makes for a lovely gift. Marqués de Câceres Marqués de Cáceres Rosé, $12.99 Fresh and elegant, this Rioja rosé blends Tempranillo and Garnacha for bright notes of strawberry, citrus, and a hint of spice. Pale coral in color with a lively finish, it's a perfect match for grilled fish, white meats, or summer salads. This sustainable wine features organic grapes. Hecht & Bannier Hecht & Bannier Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence Rose, $19.99 This certified sustainable, organic rosé is perfect for dads who are environmentally conscious. Made with Grenache, Cinsault and Vermentino grapes, this French rosé has an herbaceous allure that's enhanced by aromas of white peach and wild strawberry. Juvé & Camps Pinot Noir Rosé NV, $25 From the heart of Spain's Penedès region, Juvé & Camps Pinot Noir Rosé NV is a sparkling Cava made with 100 percent Pinot Noir grapes. Crisp and refreshing, it offers fine bubbles and notes of rose petal, red currant, and wild raspberry. It's actually a delicious pairing with potato chips so open up a bottle with your dad and watch his favorite movie or sports game with it. Château d'Estoublon Roseblood Rosé, $27 Just this year, Château d'Estoublon's Roseblood Rosé has made its debut in the U.S. market. This exquisite rosé boasts a stunning pale and delicate hue of rose water. Its expressive aroma reveals notes of apricot and peony, with just the right touch of minerality. It's a great wine to sip with your dad. This is an easy drinking French rosé. Cellier de Chartreux Cellier de Chartreux Chevalier d'Anthelme Côtes du Rhône Rosé, $12 With a peachy-pink hue, this French wine offers succulent melon aromas, along with a nuanced minerality. It's a lovely wine at an even lovelier price. Gabriel Meffre Terre de Galets Côtes-du-Rhône, $13 This rosé boasts a deep salmon color, and it's a blend of Grenache and Cinsault grapes. Fresh and fruity, it's a fabulous wine to pair with barbecued meats so fire up the grill with your dad. La Vielle Ferme Rosé, $11.99 Fresh and very fruity, this French rosé is lively and juicy, with notes of red fruit, nectarines and peaches. It also happens to be America's number one selling French wine.
