Social Sharing It's the first long weekend of spring and though some services and hours will be scaled back, there's still time to get those Easter treats. Here's a roundup of what's open and closed in Winnipeg so you can hop to it. City services: All civic offices will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday, but that doesn't mean the city's services are being halted. Recycling and garbage will be collected as normally scheduled for those with Friday or Monday as their collection day. Winnipeg Transit: Operating on a Sunday schedule for Good Friday. Libraries: All branches are closed Friday and Sunday. Regular operating hours are in effect on Saturday. On Monday, the following branches will open from 1-5 p.m.: Millennium. Bill and Helen Norrie. Henderson. Louis Riel. Pembina Trail. St. James-Assiniboia. West Kildonan. The Brady Road landfill will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Monday for commercial customers only. Normal operating hours are in effect for Saturday and Sunday. 4R depots: The Brady Road location will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for residential customers on Monday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The Pacific and Panet depots will be closed on Friday and Monday and open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Indoor pools: All closed on Friday with the exception of Margaret Grant (open 1-5 p.m.) and Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex (open 2-6 p.m.). Regular hours on Saturday. Regular opening hours on Sunday but all sites close at 4 p.m. All pools are closed Monday with the exception of Pan Am (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), Margaret Grant (1-5 p.m.) and Cindy Klassen (2-6 p.m.). Fitness and leisure centres: Closed Friday with the exception of Cindy Klassen (2-6 p.m.). Regular hours on Saturday. Regular opening hours on Sunday but all sites close at 4 p.m. Closed Monday, except for Pan Am (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and Cindy Klassen (2-6 p.m.). The Animal Services Agency will be closed Friday and Monday and open regular hours on Saturday and Sunday, noon until 5 p.m. Anyone looking to renew a pet licence can still do so online. Cemeteries: Brookside, Transcona and St. Vital cemeteries will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., but the administration office at Brookside will be closed from Friday until it reopens Tuesday. Liquor Marts Open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Good Friday, with regular hours on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Shopping Malls Polo Park: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Kildonan Place and St. Vital: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, closed Sunday and regular hours on Monday. Grant Park: Closed Friday and Sunday, open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and regular hours on Monday. Outlet Collection: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, closed Sunday and regular hours on Monday. Garden City: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, closed Sunday and regular hours on Monday. Attractions: Canadian Museum for Human Rights: Open Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed Monday. Manitoba Museum: Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed Monday. Winnipeg Art Gallery-Qaumajuq: Closed Friday and Monday, open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada: Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Manitoba Children's Museum: Open regular hours every day, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Forks Market: Open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Assiniboine Park Zoo: Open regular hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dalnavert Museum: Closed through the weekend.
