Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.64% in an upbeat market
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded negative around 10:24AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market. ADVERTISEMENT Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.0 per cent), Gland Pharma Ltd.(up 0.87 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.51 per cent) and Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(up 0.43 per cent) were among the top gainers. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 2.95 per cent), Biocon Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 0.88 per cent), Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 0.51 per cent) and Abbott India Ltd.(down 0.5 per cent) were the top losers on the index. The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.64 per cent at 21385.0 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 173.05 points at 24782.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 543.93 points at 81495.92. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 43 were trading in the green, while 7 were in the red. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Teleservices, HFCL, YES Bank and BEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of Khaitan(India), Centum Elec, SecMark Consultancy, Stampede Cap(DVR)and Interarch Building hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Golden Tobacco, Future Supply Chain, Pritish Nandy, Marshall Machines and Bafna Pharma hit fresh 52-week lows in trade. Remove Ads NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded positive around 11:22AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat Pharma Ltd.(up 3.62 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 2.32 per cent), Biocon Ltd.(up 2.19 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 2.15 per cent) and Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 2.03 per cent) were among the top gainers.J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent) were the top losers on the Nifty Pharma index was up 1.66 per cent at 21812.85 at the time of writing this NSE Nifty50 index was up 214.9 points at 24898.8, while the BSE Sensex was up 665.6 points at the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 46 were trading in the green, while 4 were in the of Vodafone Idea, BEL, YES Bank, Eternal and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the of AB Infrabuild, SecMark Consultancy, Gabriel India, Stampede Cap(DVR)and Krishana Phoschem hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Music Broadcast, Godha Cabcon & Insul, Transwarr Fin, N K Industries and Shah Alloys hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
