Mobile teen second suspect arrested in Citronelle graduation party shooting
MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A second suspect in a Citronelle graduation party deadly shooting has been arrested, News 5 has learned. Mobile police seek missing, endangered man Gadrick Dewayne Overstreet Jr., 19, has been arrested and booked into Mobile Metro Jail. Mobile County Sheriff's Office officials have confirmed he is the second suspect in the May 11 graduation party shooting on Tom Hopkins Road on May 11 around 2 a.m. that resulted in the death of Jaylon Rivers, 19, and injuring Zachary Morgan, 18. Overstreet is accused of felony murder, attempted murder and first-degree robbery. A juvenile was arrested and is also accused of felony murder and first-degree robbery. Mobile man accused of child abuse
MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mobile man was arrested Monday on child abuse charges. Deadly shooting at Citronelle graduation party leads to juvenile's arrest: MCSO According to a Mobile Police Department spokesperson, Nykolas James Cooper, 26, was arrested on a charge of torture/willful abuse of a child under 18. The MPD spokesperson said a report of suspected abuse led to the police department's child abuse detail beginning an investigation. Cooper was taken to Metro Jail and is scheduled for a bond hearing on Wednesday, May 21. Two Lillian women killed in multi-vehicle crash in Elberta Mobile police said this investigation is active.
