SNAPS! — Mayor's Ball
The Mayor's Ball held Feb. 22 at CityServe headquarters in downtown Bakersfield wasn't just an evening of elegance — it was a fundraiser that brought in about $1.9 million to continue transforming lives in Kern County.
"The Mayor's Ball this year was monumental and historic for CityServe, as well as for Kern County," CityServe spokeswoman Crissy Cochran said by email. "We are so grateful for the support of this community. This is what the CityServe collaborative network is all about — working together!"
CityServe is part of a global organization called CityServe Network, also based on F Street in Bakersfield, that unites churches to get donations and discount supplies to people in need.
