Hundreds of people participate in ‘Tiranga Rally' on Beach Road in Visakhapatnam
A large number of people enthusiastically took part in the 'Tiranga Rally' organised by leaders from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), to commemorate the significant victory of 'Operation Sindoor', on the Beach Road here on Sunday.
Union Minister of State for Steel, Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Raju, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He was joined by a host of dignitaries including Visakhapatnam Mayor Peela Srinivasa Rao, MLAs P. Vishnu Kumar Raju and Ch. Vamsikrishna Srinivas, as well as Visakhapatnam City Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Gandi Babjee. Several other public representatives and political leaders were present.
The rally witnessed a sea of people, young and old alike, walking in unison while carrying the national flag with pride. Among the highlights was a massive tricolour, jointly held and carried by participants along the route, creating a visually stirring moment of national unity. Slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' reverberated the Beach Road stretch.
The rally also drew numerous onlookers and visitors who were present on the Beach Road for their weekend outing. Many of them, moved by the patriotic spirit of the event, spontaneously joined the procession, swelling the numbers and adding to the festive and patriotic fervour.
