Bernalillo County Fire Rescue holding wildfire preparedness townhalls
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – North Valley residents in Bernalillo County are invited to a special meeting this week to be more prepared for wildfire season. Bernalillo Fire Rescue is hosting the town hall on Thursday at 5:30 at Taft Middle School.
City of Albuquerque hosts Civic Connections Volunteer Fest
Participants can learn more about planning evacuations and protecting property from fire risks. They can also ask the experts fire-related questions. A second town hall is scheduled for May 1 in the East Mountains.
