A woman has been badly hurt in a car crash near a popular WA holiday destination. Credit: Rebecca Parish / Supplied Claire Sadler The West Australian A woman has been badly hurt in a car crash near a popular WA holiday destination. WA Police said that a white Mitsubishi Challenger station sedan was travelling on Coral Bay Road in Lyndon towards Minilya-Exmouth Road when it veered off the road and rolled about 4pm on Saturday. Emergency services rushed to the scene, taking the driver and a passenger to Coral Bay Nursing Post. The 25-year-old female passenger sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital. The 23-year-old male driver was not hurt. Major crash investigators are examining the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online here. WA Police said a Ford Falcon ute was travelling east on Cecil Avenue around 1pm when it collided with a cyclist near Leila Street in Cannington. The cyclist, a 34-year-old man, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital by ambulance. Major crash investigators are now appealing for any witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at Dash-cam or mobile phone footage can be uploaded directly to investigators via this link.
