Toormina man Clancy Pengelly charged with importing and unlicensed firearms

Police allege they have seized five litres of imported liquid ketamine, two gel blasters and other prohibited substances in a suburban raid on the Mid-North-Coast.
Clancy James Pengelly, 40, was arrested in the suburban sting and charged with importing the border controlled substance and being in possession of the firearms without a license as well as drug offences.
In documents before Coffs Harbour Local Court, police alleged they attended an address at Platts Close, Toormina, near Coffs Harbour, and uncovered the ketamine they allege was imported between March 13 and 16.
Clancy James Pengelly of Toormina attended Coffs Harbour court on Tuesday as the police case against him proceeds.
The documents show that on the morning of March 21, police also seized 15.51gm of ketamine, along with two gel blaster firearms, 2.86gm of cocaine and a quantity of MDMA.
Pengelly faced court on Tuesday charged with import a border controlled, drug, possess an unauthorised firearm, five counts of possess a prohibited drug, and two counts of supply a prohibited drug in relation the cocaine and MDMA .
He remains on bail and will appear in court again on August 12.
