Catherine's dedication to the meaning behind what she wears is unmatched, the pretty purple colour not only looks nice but it also signifies the unity of the armed forces and all its branches - Army green, Marine red and Navy blue.
Not only was Kate's subtle honour intended to honour veterans but also to pay homage to Queen Camilla.
Camilla often wears her own purple coat dress to royal events such as the annual Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey in 2022.
