Clarksville police investigating shooting that left 1 person injured
CLARKSVILE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person injured. Clarksville police were called to a convenience store in the 900 block of Crossland Avenue at about 9:35 p.m. Friday after getting a 911 call about a shooting that had already happened in the store's parking lot. Person shot in the chest at Clarksville Speedway and Fairgrounds
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a shooting at the Clarksville Speedway and Fairgrounds Saturday night. According to the Clarksville Police Department, off-duty officers supporting the ongoing fair reported hearing gunshots coming from the parking lot near the venue's entrance at approximately 9:10 p.m. on Saturday, May 31. 1 charged after 2 killed, 1 injured in Columbia shooting Authorities said additional officers responded to the scene and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was brought to Tennova Healthcare, but there's no word on his current condition. Witnesses at the scene reported seeing five or six males running from the area toward Hazelwood Road following the shooting, law enforcement said. Officials added that the shooting appears to be an isolated incident. Suspect identified in Clarksville stabbing, police seek help finding her
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Clarksville Police Department has asked for the public's help locating a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing earlier this week. ORIGINAL STORY: Woman found stabbed in Clarksville roadway A woman called Clarksville authorities at around 2:20 a.m. Thursday saying that she had been stabbed. A press release from the Clarksville Police Department said that arriving officers found her in the roadway in the 2200 block of McCormick Lane; she was taken to Tennova Healthcare for treatment. As of publication, the victim remains in stable condition. Authorities said that over the course of the investigation, they were able to identify the suspect as 24-year-old Jada Turner and have secured a warrant for aggravated assault against her. Anyone with information about Turner's whereabouts should call 911 immediately. Clarksville Police searching for burglary suspect
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Clarksville Police Department is searching for a man accused of forcibly entering two smoke shops and taking merchandise. Officials said the man was involved in two separate burglaries, on May 2 and May 23, during which over $4,800 of THCA-based products were stolen. According to CPD the man is bearded and believed to be in his 20s to 30s. Water rescue underway at Billy Dunlop Park in Clarksville
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — First responders launched a water rescue operation Sunday afternoon following the disappearance of a boy in Clarksville. The Clarksville Police Department said it responded to Billy Dunlop Park just after 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 18 to help Clarksville Fire Rescue and Montgomery County EMS with a water rescue. Lebanon police investigating shooting that left 1 injured According to authorities, a father reported his 12-year-old son went missing after he was last seen in the river. Officials announced shortly before 3 p.m. that Billy Dunlop Park, Robert Clark Park, and the Blueway are closed until further notice as a precaution.
