Established in 1973, the popular photographer specialises in photo restorations, portraits, pet photography, and passport photos, as well as selling frames and accessories.
Ken is pictured with his first camera, which his grandmother gave him the money to buy, paving the way for his decades-long career as a photographer.
The studio is located on Charlotte Street in the Dumfries and Galloway town.
This family-run business has been a cornerstone of the community for many years, offering a wide range of photography services.
It has also published old archives of special occasions and events through the decades.
However, after decades in business, the owner of the much-loved shop has confirmed it will close at the end of the month, ahead of his retirement.
An announcement on the studio's Facebook page stated: "As I am closing my business in Charlotte Street on 30th April, I have a large stock of new frames for sale at only £3.00 each – any size or style.
"Grab yourself a bargain now!
"I would like to thank all my customers for their business over the last 50 years.
"I still intend to post images from my very popular Classic Collection in the future. Kind regards, Ken."
