Woman dead, 3 teens seriously injured in Hwy 26 crash
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman died in a two-car crash on Hwy 26 in Clatsop County on Saturday, Oregon State Police announced.
The crash happened near milepost 2 just before 4 p.m.
'The preliminary investigation indicated an eastbound Toyota Avalon, operated by a male juvenile (16), crossed the centerline for unknown reasons and struck a westbound Toyota Camry,' police said.
The driver of the Camry, Lynette Love, 50, died at the scene.
The driver of the Avalon, as well as two other teens, ages 18 and 19, were all hospitalized after suffering critical injuries.
