Terri Batschelet named Siouxland's 2025 Remarkable Woman
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Over the last few weeks, KCAU 9 has been sharing with you the stories of women who have made an incredible impact in the Siouxland community. It is with great pleasure that we announce our fourth and final candidate, as well as our winner, for Siouxland's 2025 Remarkable Woman:
Terri Batschelet of Spencer, Iowa, is the winner of this year's honor. She has helped her community recover from June 2024's severe flooding while serving as executive director of the Clay County Community Foundation.
She will win a $1,000 donation for her charity of choice, the Clay County Community Foundation. Terri will also be invited to Los Angeles for a special presentation with over 100 other Remarkable Women from across the country. There, KCAU 9's parent company Nexstar Media Group will name a national 'Remarkable Woman of the Year' winner.
