Clinton emergency department closing for part of the weekend

(Source: Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance) Officials with the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) say due to ongoing staff shortages, the emergency department (ED) at the Clinton Public hospital will run on reduced hours this weekend. The ED will close at 8 p.m. Friday, and it won't reopen until 8 a.m. Sunday. Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should contact 911. First responders will transport you to the nearest available ED. The closest hospitals to Clinton include the Seaforth Community Hospital, Goderich's Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, and Exeter's South Huron Hospital.
