Colorado football class of 2026 offensive tackle target releases final five schools
Colorado football class of 2026 offensive tackle target Chancellor Campbell released his final five schools on Friday.
The Buffaloes are part of a final quintet, along with heavy hitters Ohio State, Florida, Georgia, Colorado and Penn State.
247Sports lists the 6-foot-8, 295-pound Campbell as a three-star recruit, as does On3. He is the No. 37 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 55 recruit from Florida. The Saint Petersburg native has a 94.6% chance to sign with his home state team, the Florida Gators, according to On3. Campbell has visits scheduled with Penn State (June 20), Ohio State (June 13), Florida (June 6) and Georgia (May 30). It is unclear whether Campbell will schedule an official visit with the Buffs.
Colorado's class of 2026 is currently two players deep with four-star tight end Gavin Mueller and junior college product Domata Peko Jr. being the only two commitments so far.
Deion Sanders and Colorado should be hitting the recruiting trail hard this spring with official visits heating up as we enter the summer months. High school recruits are never the No. 1 source of new talent for the Coach Prime-led Buffs, but the idea of quality over quantity seems to ring true every time. Campbell, a three-star prospect, would be a quality addition and continue the trend of Colorado bolstering its offensive line.
