Major drug haul in Quriyat: Pakistani national apprehended
Muscat: Coast Guard Police Command, in coordination with the Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, has apprehended a Pakistani national in the Wilayat of Quriyat. Authorities confirmed that the individual was found in possession of more than 90 kilograms of narcotic substances, including crystal meth, marijuana, hashish, and large quantities of psychotropic pills. The seized substances were reportedly intended for distribution and trade within the Sultanate, raising serious concerns about cross-border drug smuggling activities. Authorities stated that legal procedures are currently underway as investigations continue. The Royal Oman Police reiterated its commitment to fighting drug-related crimes and urged the public to report any suspicious activities.

Coast guard seizes drug-smuggling boat off coast
Muscat – The Coast Guard Police Command has intercepted a boat carrying four individuals—two Arabs and two Asians—attempting to smuggle a large quantity of illegal narcotics into the country. According to the Royal Oman Police, the seized substances included crystal meth, marijuana, morphine, and psychotropic pills. All four suspects have been detained, and legal procedures are currently underway. Authorities have urged the public to maintain vigilance and help in intensifying efforts to combat drug smuggling operations.

Four arrested for trying to smuggle drugs into Oman
Muscat: Four smugglers have been arrested for attempting to smuggle quantities of crystal meth, marijuana, morphine, and psychotropic pills by sea into the Sultanate of Oman. ROP said in a statement :"The Coast Guard Police Command seized a boat carrying four people, two Iranians, one Afghan, and one Pakistani while attempting to smuggle quantities of crystal meth, marijuana, morphine, and psychotropic pills. Legal procedures are being completed."
