'I just put my shoes on and started walking. I walked until I saw this little country church, and it was like a beacon, and I went there and knocked on the door, and this kind lady let me in, and she stayed with me and prayed with me for a while,' the 'Cocaine Blues' singer continued.
Furthermore, the 'Love and Regret' singer further explained that he decided to continue the show as his mother would have wanted him to. "She loved you all so much, and the last couple of years were some of her happiest because of a lot of you folks from here. You all became some of our best friends, and I really want to thank you for that,' Billy Strings concluded, further requesting the audience to shout as loud as they can to honour her instead of a moment of silence.
