Several injured after plane crash in Tullahoma

TULLAHOMA, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities are on the scene of a plane crash in Tullahoma that has reportedly left multiple people injured. According to the Coffee County Sheriff's Department, the crash was reported Sunday, June 8 near the Tullahoma Regional Airport and Old Shelbyville Highway. 📧 Have breaking news come to you: → The Tennessee Highway Patrol said it is believed 16 to 20 people were on board. Several injured individuals have been transported to hospitals by medical helicopter, and others are receiving treatment at the scene. The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security told ABC News only two people on board the plane were seriously injured, adding that there are no known fatalities at this time. THP has asked residents to avoid the area to allow emergency crews to work. ⏩ According to officials, the Tullahoma Police Department is leading the investigation into the crash. One arrested in Enterprise drug bust

ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) – According to the Coffee County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, a handful of law enforcement officials from multiple departments and agencies executed a search warrant in Enterprise, where they discovered illegal narcotics. Officials with the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force, ALEA, the SBI and the Coffee County Sheriff's Office were involved in this bust. They initiated the warrant at the 600 block of West Adams Street, where they found 185 grams of methamphetamine, 16 grams of crack cocaine and four grams of oxycodone. Also, along with the drugs, officials found a stolen firearm. Officials arrested 62-year-old Larry Brooks for the crime. They charged him with drug trafficking methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, a handful of counts of unlawful possession, forbidden to possess a firearm and receiving stolen property.
