Dodgers' Kike Hernandez relives time he pooped pants during 2020 playoffs: ‘Different walk than usual'

Dodgers outfielder Kiké Hernandez unknowingly suffered a bowel movement during a playoff baseball game, he retold during a podcast released this week. Herndandez was appearing on the 'Cold as Balls' podcast hosted by comedian Kevin Hart when the story came up, leading the Dodger to explain that he had been taking an antibiotic for a cracked root canal, which had a side effect of diarrhea. 'This point I'm in the game as a designated hitter, getting ready to go in the game,' Hernandez said. 'Dustin May gets a strike out and I go 'F–k yeah!' and when I did that, I thought I farted. So I go up the stairs to go hit and it's kind of a different walk than usual…and I'm like alright, gotta try to focus, lock it in and get into it. Dodgers' Kiké Hernández chats with first baseman Justin Turner (not pictured) during the eighth inning of the Cubs' 16-0 win on April 12, 2025. AP 'I struck out in three pitches and let me tell you, I've never been happier to strike out in my life.' Though Hernandez didn't mention the specific game during the podcast appearance, he did provide more detail in a social media video posted by the Red Sox in 2023, where he also told the story. The incident in question occurred during the 2020 playoffs while he was playing for the Dodgers, though he didn't reveal what round it had occurred in. Hernandez has played in the major leagues for 12 seasons, spending nine of them with the Dodgers. His MLB stops have also included the Red Sox, Astros and Marlins. The Dodgers' Kiké Hernandez retold the story about he pooped his pants during the 2020 playoffs. Cold as Balls/YouTube He was part of two World Champion Dodger squads, winning a World Series title with Los Angeles in 2020 during the COVID season and again in 2024 when he was part of the championship team that was able to celebrate a title after defeating the Yankees. This season, he has hit .229 with the Dodgers.

Bijan Robinson talks recruitment, Texas legacy with Kevin Hart on ‘Cold as Balls'

Bijan Robinson talks recruitment, Texas legacy with Kevin Hart on 'Cold as Balls' Robinson says a sudden change of heart led him to Texas. Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson, a former Texas Longhorns standout, appeared on the latest episode of Kevin Hart's 'Cold as Balls,' which premiered Wednesday. In the candid and often humorous ice bath interview, Robinson discussed his high-profile recruitment, his time at Texas, and the pivotal moments that shaped his football journey. Robinson, who was the nation's top running back recruit in the 2020 class, revealed just how close he came to choosing a different college path. 'I had Ohio State and then USC,' Robinson told Hart, recounting his top choices before ultimately selecting Texas. He shared that his admiration for USC legend Reggie Bush nearly swayed his decision. 'Reggie Bush was my favorite player. I was like, 'If I can wear number five and bring it out of retirement, I'll come to USC!'' Robinson said, referencing his request to wear Bush's retired number at USC-a request that ultimately went unfulfilled, leading him to Austin instead. The episode also touched on Robinson's brief commitment to Ohio State. He described a moment of doubt after initially choosing the Buckeyes, saying, 'I committed to Ohio State for a week…Then like that next day I was like, 'This just doesn't feel right.' I started praying, and I just know God was telling me like, 'That's not the place for you. Ohio State's not it.'' Robinson ultimately followed his instincts and committed to Texas, where he would go on to become an All-American and a first-round NFL draft pick. Robinson also reflected on his now-famous athletic feats at Texas, including his highlight-reel jumps and game-changing plays that cemented his legacy as one of the Longhorns' all-time episode, available now, showcases Robinson's personality and sheds light on the stories behind his rise from a highly sought-after recruit to an NFL star.
