FARMINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A Manchester man with an outstanding warrant was arrested for driving 105 miles per hour on I-84 in Farmington on Saturday night.
At approximately 11 p.m., a state trooper observed a Mazda 3 traveling in West Hartford on I-84 at a high speed, using all lanes to cut through traffic. The trooper clocked the vehicle traveling at 105 mph in a 65 zone.

The trooper pulled the vehicle over on the right shoulder near exit 37 and identified the driver as Collin Demo, 21, of Manchester. The trooper noted Demo said he was driving fast because another flipped him off and that he was aware of his rate of speed.
A check of Demo's license showed an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court. Demo was charged with reckless driving, improper passing, failure to maintain a proper lane on a highway, and failure to appear in the second degree. He was issued a $1,000 bond for the motor vehicle charges and is scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on March 21.
But Demo was unable to post a separate court-set $10,000 bond for failure to appear. He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on March 10.
