Queen Camilla Favors Ornate Embroidery in Navy Midi Dress for State Visit to Italy With King Charles III
Queen Camilla of the United Kingdom joined her husband King Charles III for the royal couple's state visit to Italy on Monday. The British royals touched down in Rome, greeted by dignitaries and representatives from Italy's governing body. For the special royal visit, Queen Camilla opted for a shade of understated navy blue. The midi dress featured the queen consort's go-to silhouette, including three-quarter-length sleeves and a hemline that fell below her knee. The intricate detailing included contrasting fabric for added sartorial tension and a three-dimensional effect evocative of small square shapes in a uniform pattern running down the bodice of the dress and top of the skirt. The playful fabric contrast was also featured on the cuff of Queen Camilla's dress sleeve. She wore a pair of navy pumps to accentuate her navy blue color palette. Her accessories included such pieces as her go-to Van Cleef & Arpels bracelets. As for King Charles III's attire, the reigning monarch also opted for a dark, muted shade of blue, which he paired with a neutral tie, white button-down shirt and pocket square. The British royal couple's arrival in Rome on Monday marks the first day of their Italy tour. As evidenced by previous tours, namely her 2024 trip to Australia, Queen Camilla regularly gravitates to her tried-and-true silhouettes. An admirer of the midi dress, Queen Camilla often styles looks courtesy of her go-to designers Anna Valentine and Fiona Clare. Although Queen Camilla consistently gravitates toward the same silhouette, her style remains playful when it comes to patterns and accessories. Princess Charlene of Monaco Opts for Ornate Lace Detailing and Asymmetry for the 2025 Rose Ball
Princess Charlene of Monaco joined members of the sovereign city-state's royal family for the 2025 edition of the Rose Ball. The royal attended the event alongside her husband of nearly 14 years, Prince Albert II of Monaco, as well as designer Christian Louboutin, among others. For the glamorous occasion, Princess Charlene opted for a dress courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana. The floor-length dress featured elements of asymmetry and a bevy of lace with botanical inspiration throughout. From the Revenge Dress Spotlight to Kate Middleton's Missing Diamond Princess Charlene's gown consisted of a black strapless dress with a soft sweetheart neckline. Overlaying the black base fabric was lace in a golden hue with slight green sheen. The lace created a romantic effect along with adding a dose of sartorial tension, thanks in part to the asymmetry of the lace addition, with its one long, billowing sleeve. At the waist of Princess Charlene's ensemble, the royal added a black belt for silhouette definition. Her accessories were kept to a minimum, save for a pair of statement earrings. Her blond hair was pulled back into a tight chignon with a few wisps to frame her face and her makeup included natural, clean elements along with a glossy lip. While posing for photos at the event, Princess Charlene was joined by filmmaker Blanca Li, and her sister-in-law Princess Caroline of Hanover, among others. At the 2024 Rose Ball, Princess Charlene opted for attire that was seemingly antithetical to her 2025 look. For the disco-themed festivities, Princess Charlene wore a '70s-inspired Elie Saab sequin and tulle jumpsuit. She also styled her blunt bob with fringe. The Rose Ball is an annual event that takes place in Monaco. The formal occasion serves to benefit the Princess Grace Foundation, which supports burgeoning artists in such disciplines as theater, dance and film. After successful stints in the last few years, Vogue World is coming to Hollywood. The announcement event took place on Wednesday in West Hollywood, Calif., featuring a bevy of famous fashion faces and renowned international film costume designers. The event featured such guests as Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber styling ideal cocktail attire for the occasion. The model styled a sleeveless black ensemble featuring contrasting fabric and a tiered effect with her loose blouse and streamlined skirt. She paired the look with coordinated sandal heels for a monochrome aesthetic. Hailey Bieber went sleek in her attire. The Rhode Skin founder wore a slim-fitting dress by Schiaparelli along with jewelry pieces courtesy of Tiffany & Co. The model's hair was styled by Bryce Scarlett with makeup by Nina Park. Bieber's look was curated by stylist Andrew Mukamal. Taylor Russell sported exaggerated shoulders for her look at the Vogue World: Hollywood event. Cara Delevingne opted for an edgy look. The model and longtime face of such labels as Burberry coordinated with a leather jacket featuring a gold metallic zipper.
