Who is Jessie J's partner? Everything you need to know
Jessie J has hit headlines after she bravely went public to announce she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The singer took to her Instagram page to share the devastating news, telling fans the cancer is still in its early stages and confirming she will undergo surgery in the near future. The Price Tag singer said she plans on undergoing the surgery following her performance at this month's Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium and joked it was a 'dramatic way' to get a boob job as she attempted to put on a brave face. Jessie J is a mum and in a long term relationship with boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman, who is understood to be supporting her through this time. Here is all we know about him: Born in Denmark, Colman is a now retired former professional basketball player from the Israel Basketball Premier League. He was born in 1984 in Gladsaxe, Denmark to an Israeli mother and an American father and grew up there. In his career he last played for Hapoel Haifa of the Israel Basketball Premier League and before this, played college basketball for Chipola College in Marianna, Florida, before going on to play for professional leagues in Finland, Denmark and now Israel. He is close to his family and regularly posts on his own social media channels about them. In September 2022, he shared a photo of his mum on her birthday and wrote: 'You are by far the strongest, most caring, loving and forgiving human being I know.' Jessie J first went public with her boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman in 2023, but it is believed they were together a while before this date, around 2021 - first meeting just weeks after Jessie J first experienced a miscarriage. She spoke about her love for Colman after the pair welcomed their first child Sky together May 2023, calling him 'the calm to my crazy,' 'the peace to my fear' and, finally, 'the Daddy to my baby.' She shared a snap of the pair on her socials and wrote: 'I struggle to keep things private. I think if you know me, you know that. I want to protect people I love and keep it for myself.' Sky is now two years old. She continued, 'And then so often I think f--- it because life is short and don't want to regret it. Once you open the door, you can't close it." She referred to her partner as a 'beam of light' that 'lit up my dark days,' adding that their relationship has been 'a whirlwind love.' The birth announcement came after Jessie J experienced the miscarriage in November 2021. 'For all of you that have followed my journey to this moment, thank you for all your continued love and support,' she wrote following the birth of her son. Before finding Colman, Jessie J was in a long term relationship with Hollywood actor Channing Tatum. She dated the Magic Mike star on and off for around two years, with the pair first linked in October 2018. They were seen together loved up, but split in December 2019 before getting back together in 2020, but broke up later on. Before Channing, Jessie J was with fellow singer and R&B star Luke James, with the pair dating from November 2014 to October 2015. They reportedly met through friends in the music industry and were seen together on numerous occasions during their relationship but kept their love out of the limelight.

Jessie J Reveals Hilarious Reason Why Her Boyfriend Should Be One to Propose: ‘He Has Exceeded...'
Jessie J is opening up about taking the next steps in her relationship with partner Chanan Safir Colman. The duo has been dating for the past couple of years and also share a son. Impressed by Colman's parenting skills, she wants the basketball player to propose to her. In conversation with People Magazine, the English native revealed that she was the one to make the first move and now it was the athlete's turn to pop the big question. While sitting down for an interview with the media portal, Jessie shared, "He has exceeded my expectations as a father beyond my imagination. I'm so grateful that he is so present and just so willing to adapt around, obviously, my career.' Moreover, opening up about her marriage plans, the Grammy-nominated singer revealed that she is in no rush to tie the knot with Colman yet. She stated that the couple has talked about having a wedding a lot of times but are taking their own time to fix things. Jessie continued to add that people have funny reactions to her decision to be a wife, but she has her own preferences. The musician continued to explain, "I would love to get married when Sky's old enough to know what's happening so that he can be really a part of it and enjoy that moment of seeing Mummy and Daddy come together in our love.' She said that having a child together is the most intimate they feel. Joking about the proposal, the singer revealed that she will not be proposing. Explaining the reason behind the same, the singer added, "I'm not proposing, even though I'm always the one that makes the move. I made a move on him, so he's got to make the move on me." Jessie J and Chanan Colman first met each other in 2021, and within two years of dating, the couple announced the birth of their first son.

Met Gala 2025 blue carpet: See what Diana Ross, Colman Domingo, Kim Kardashian and more wore to fashion's biggest night
The Met Gala is known for uniting stars for a night of theatrical fashion, and the 2025 event was no exception. This year's theme, 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,' celebrated the legacy and influence of Black fashion, and specifically Black dandyism, a cultural movement where Black people used sharp fashion to reclaim power and dignity through stylish expression. With the given theme 'Tailored for You,' celebrities arrived at the Met Gala in looks that not only tipped a hat to this era of Black style, but also honored the craftsmanship of custom fashion. And some stars? They simply did it better than others — or, rather, the designers and stylists behind their look did. From floor-sweeping and sequined gowns to surprising bodysuits, pantsuits and just plain suits, here are the stars who made the Met Gala this year. Singer Teyana Taylor pulled out all the stops for her crimson Met Gala look, which included a carpet-sweeping cape, cane and a literal feather in her cap. The outfit was designed by Taylor herself along with Black Panther costume designer Ruth E. Carter and is full of tiny details, including the words 'Harlem rose' stitched into her train. Taylor, a native of Harlem, released the song 'Rose in Harlem' in 2018. The Sing Sing actor and cochair of the Met Gala sported an ode to Black dandyism complete with larger-than-life accessories, like the floral broach. His stylist, Micah McDonald, told Variety, 'We wanted to make sure that Colman felt like the Colman that we all know. And also feel like there was a relaxed feel to it there, this effortless feel to it that felt like home.' The singer made her Met Gala debut this year, but she might as well have been headed for the 'pink pony club' in her hot-pink patchwork pantsuit complete with beading. The Abbott Elementary icon went for a black-and-white pinstripe look. She sported a long gown and matching jacket, complete with a single red rose pinned to her jacket. The music icon, who was accompanied by her son Evan Ross Katz, took up space on the carpet with a larger-than-life white feathered train that had to be carried by multiple people. But take a closer look and you'll see something else that's special: Ross also had the names of her grandchildren embroidered into the train. The outfit was completed by a matching hat and a body-hugging sparkling silver gown, all of which was designed by Ross and Nigerian fashion designer Ugo Mozie. The Euphoria star looked mysterious and chic as ever in an all-white suit and oversize white hat from Louis Vuitton. The Watchmen alum took to the carpet in an embroidered navy blue ensemble from New York-based designers Tela D'Amore and Ev Bravado, cofounders of fashion label Who Decides War. The star of The Substance looked like a piece of art at the Met Gala in a sculptural outfit designed by Thom Browne that also featured more than 1 million beads. And take a closer look and you'll notice that her nod to tailoring is obvious — her outfit is actually designed to look like a necktie! For the 'Flowers' singer, who made her return to the Met Gala after a six-year break, the event was all about abs. She bared her stomach while wearing a fitted and cropped leather jacket, which she paired with a black drop-waist maxi skirt. The pint-sized pop princess had a pants-less party at the Met Gala in her crimson bodysuit from Louis Vuitton creative director Pharrell Williams. The Spider-Man: Homecoming actress wore an all-white outfit with sheer balloon sleeves on the carpet. The look was designed by Zac Posen in the Gap Studio and marks the designer's first time crafting a Met Gala look that includes pants. The 'Ribs' singer, who is releasing new music this summer, wore a gray bandeau top with a matching maxi skirt and tailored jacket from Thom Browne to the event. The White Lotus star made his debut in an inside-out black skirt and overcoat by Thom Browne, which he paired with a white shirt and black tie. Kim Kardashian, a Met Gala regular since her debut in 2013, arrived later in the evening wearing a fitted leather two-piece from Chrome Hearts, a brand she has supported and worn for several big events over the last few years. She paired her outfit with a diamond necklace and matching earrings by Moussaieff. Singer Charli XCX took a break from her Brat tour to wear custom Ann Demeulemeester by Stefano Gallici to the Met Gala. It was the first time anyone has worn the Belgian label to the event. The actress and singer stepped out in a larger-than-life Thom Browne creation that was reminiscent of a suit. Upon her arrival at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, costume designer Paul Tazewell tore away the first layer of Monáe's look to reveal a more fitted, two-toned Thom Browne suit underneath. The 'Alter Ego' rapper sported a custom Louis Vuitton short suit for the Met Gala, and even brought along a cigar to complete the look. Simone Biles wore a custom Harbison Studio high-low blue dress with floral appliqués, a white collar and a flowing train. The model went for the gold in a sleek, crystal-lined gold halter gown by Miu Miu, which was styled by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson of the Guest in Residence. The look, according to Harper's Bazaar, was a nod to Black fashion designer Zelda Wynn Valdez as well as dancer and singer Josephine Baker, who Quinta Brunson also honored with her look. After revealing her third pregnancy with a gray two-piece look (snapped by photographers earlier in the day), the perpetually fashionably late Rihanna finally hit the Met Gala carpet in a pinstripe skirt, black hat and red polka-dot tie.
