Poland native continues tear as Robert Morris wins 8th straight
KENT, Ohio (WKBN) – Robert Morris freshman and Poland native Mary Brant stayed hot with a run-scoring double during the Colonials' 12-4 win over Kent State on Tuesday.
Brant finished the day 1-for-4 with a double and run batted in during the Colonials' eighth straight victory.
On the season, the Poland Seminary graduate leads the team with a .367 batting average and .873 slugging percentage.
She also is ranked in the top three on the team with five home runs (2nd), 18 RBI (2nd), seven doubles (2nd), three triples (1st) and 20 hits (3rd).
During the win streak, Brant is 10-for-28 with three home runs and 11 runs batted in.
Robert Morris softball (12-9 overall, 5-1 in Horizon League) is back in action on the road at IU Indy on Friday, March 28.
