The entire Sanders family is known for their flash and swagger. Deion Sanders leads the charge as Colorado's head coach and the Pro Football Hall of Famer, effectively known as "Prime Time" during his playing days. Shedeur and Shilo Sanders show much of the same swag as their father.
Shedeur became known for his signature "watch flex" celebration, which has become popular among other professional athletes. Now, Shilo, who showed his style on the field during his two seasons at Colorado, is giving back to his Buffs' family.
In a video posted to Instagram by new Colorado defensive lineman Tawfiq Thomas, he showed off a new Apple Watch, which was gifted to him by Shilo Sanders.
Thomas can be heard in the video shouting, "Apple Watch after workout, Yes sir, Shilo! Yes, sir Shilo!"
The gesture isn't surprising considering Sanders was the Buffaloes' defensive leader the past two seasons, but the fact that he is gifting the watches to players who weren't even his teammates speaks volumes.
Deion Sanders is establishing a culture in Boulder, and his sons are taking that to heart, helping to leave a legacy that will hopefully continue for years to come.
Shilo is now in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Still, he is showing that he wants Colorado's current roster to feel his support, which can undoubtedly pay huge dividends when trying to keep a roster intact during the ever-evolving college football landscape.
Colorado will need a strong locker room this season as they enter 2025 with the Big 12's toughest conference slate and one of the toughest overall schedules in the conference.
The Buffaloes will open their season with a Friday night home game against Georgia Tech on Aug. 29.
