Get free shuttle service between 2 big events this weekend
(WKBN) – Two local cities are teaming up to make it easier and cheaper for residents to enjoy a night out. Salem and Columbiana are touting a partnership, offering free transportation between two big events this weekend. More: Valley summer events The Salem Super Cruise and Columbiana Wine Festival will be connected by the Quakertown Trolley. The trolley will run between 4 and 9 p.m., with the last departing trip from Salem to Columbiana at 9. Organizers say they hope the service reduces traffic and parking headaches, and encourages more people to experience what both towns have to offer. 'We know that we're only eight miles apart, so we share in our various activities that go in both communities. The trolley is an opportunity for us to allow people from Columbiana to go to Salem, and bring people from Salem to Columbiana,' said Columbiana Mayor Rick Noel. To sweeten the deal even more, Wine Festival admission will be discounted to $30 for trolley riders. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
