FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va (WFXR) — The Franklin County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of two men in connection with the homicide of a woman found dead in a vehicle at a residence in Henry on May 5. The sheriff said that on Wednesday, May 7, 22-year-old Corion Devonte Manns of Henry and Isaiah Kahlil Witcher of Bassett were arrested and charged with Second-Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony for the shooting death of 24-year-old Emily Grace Keene of Callaway. ORIGINAL REPORTING | Homicide investigation underway after woman found dead in Franklin County Both Manns and Witcher are currently being held without bond pending court proceedings. Man found dead in Nelson County

Lovingston Va — The Nelson County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect, after a man was found dead in a home. Friday, April 18th, Nelson County deputies responded to home in the Shipman area, for reports of an unresponsive man. Deputies arrived to find the man dead, with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim has been identified as Kevin Scott Small. The Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect, who has been charged with Second Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. The suspect has yet to be named by law enforcement and is not believed to be in Nelson County at this time. The Sheriff's Office says they don't believe there is a threat to the community. Man arrested in Tysons for armed carjacking, Fairfax County police say

ANNANDALE, Va. () — Fairfax County police arrested a 24-year-old man for carjacking someone in Annandale. The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said on Wednesday that at around 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the 7000 block of Columbia Pike for a carjacking. The victim said the man had threatened them with a gun and told them to get out of the car. PREVIOUS COVERAGE: Fairfax County police 'quickly' arrest man for carjacking The victim got out of their 2020 Chevrolet Trax and the man got in and took off. Nobody was hurt. Officers were able to locate the car a short while later in Tysons and took the man into custody. He was identified as Knorr Hunter and was charged with Carjacking and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. Hunter is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.
