Suspect in custody after bank robbery in Lincoln County
LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Lincolnton man has been arrested following a bank robbery that unfolded Thursday afternoon.
Just after 1:20 p.m. on April 17, officers with the Lincolnton Police Department were called to Peoples Bank on East Main Street after reports of a robbery. Authorities quickly launched an investigation, and by 8:30 p.m., they had a suspect in custody.
Bryan Keith Flowers was arrested and charged with Common Law Robbery and Felony Possession of Stolen Goods. According to officials, additional charges may be on the way from the FBI and U.S. Probation.
Flowers is currently being held on a $75,000 secured bond.
