Australian markets ‘somewhat fluid' due to US tariff drama
Commsec's Tom Piotrowski has said the Australian markets are "somewhat fluid" due to ongoing policy reversals regarding tariffs in the US. A US Court of Appeals has temporarily reinstated Donald Trump's tariffs just one day after the New York-based Court of International Trade ordered they be removed. "The market took this news in its stride by and large last night," Mr Piotrowski said. "Over the course of the last 24 hours you've tended to see optimism that waned over the course of the period."
