Clearfield's Community Cleanup Day to proceed rain or shine

CLEARFIELD, Pa. (WTAJ) — Clearfield's annual Community Cleanup Day is still on for Saturday, May 3, despite a forecast calling for rain, but organizers have adjusted the day's plans to better fit the weather. The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation, in partnership with Mayor Mason Strouse, will welcome volunteers beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Lower Witmer Park Pavilion. Updated instructions and supplies will be distributed on-site. This year's primary focus has shifted to mulching tree boxes along Market Street between Second and Third streets. Mulch will be available at the Third Street parking lot and at Witmer Park. While community members are encouraged to attend on Saturday regardless of weather, residents can also assist throughout the week of May 3–10 at their convenience. Mayor Mason Strouse thanked volunteers for their ongoing efforts to keep the borough clean and welcoming. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
