Section of East 82nd Street will close for two weeks beginning May 5
Citizens Energy Group announced that a portion of a northeast Indianapolis main road will be closed for about two weeks while sewer rehabilitation is completed. The stretch of East 82nd Street between Christiana Lane and Hague Road will be closed for about two weeks beginning on or after May 5, according to a news release. More: These Indianapolis-area road projects could impact your commute in 2025 Traffic will be rerouted to East 86th Street via Hague Road and Sargent Road. Three neighborhoods' main entrances will be closed by the construction. Drivers traveling to and from Castle Ridge, Shadow Ridge and Castillia will need to use alternate entry points until the road reopens. All other neighborhood entrances along 82nd Street will remain open for local traffic. A map of current Citizens Energy Group construction projects is available on the company's website.
