Six people injured, one critically, in fire at Framingham MA multifamily home
Six people were injured, including one critically, after an early morning fire Saturday, June 21, in Framingham, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire, at 363 Concord St., was not immediately known and remains under investigation, according to a press release from the Framingham Fire Department.
According to the release, the firefighters responded to the two-family home at 12:25 a.m. after receiving a report of a fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found 'heavy fire' coming from the second floor of the building.
Firefighters conducted an 'aggressive' attack on the fire, and were able to contain it to the second floor, according to the release.
Six people in the home were taken to area hospitals, including one who was listed in critical condition as of mid-morning Saturday, according to the release.

'I am proud of the outstanding work by Group 4, Brewster Ambulance, and our mutual aid partners who provided station coverage during the incident,' said Fire Chief Michael Dutcher, in a prepared statement.
The home, which was built in 1914, is owned by Jaiambe Trust of Las Vegas, Nevada. It was last assessed at $593,500, according to Framingham property records.
The fire displaced seven residents and caused an estimated $75,000 worth of damage, according to the release.
No firefighters were injured.
