After witnessing her man sink another game-deciding shot that lifted the Indiana Pacers to victory, Tyrese Haliburton's stunning girlfriend celebrated the win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Jade Jones was seen having a celebratory drink on her Instagram story after her boyfriend swished a floater from just inside the 3-point line to secure the Game 1 NBA Finals triumph on the road. Haliburton and Jones have been dating back to their days at Iowa State, where the now-Pacer became one of the best players in Cyclones' history and his beau was a cheerleader. The couple have been dating for more than six years, celebrating their latest anniversary back in April. Jones was seen before the game getting ready in her hotel room, wearing a black top with a glitzy gold watch on her right wrist. Jones' jeans had her man's last name spelled out in big block lettering down her right pant leg. Jones was also seen arm-in-arm with friend Destiny Crump walking out of Paycom Center in Oklahoma City waving Pacers towels. Jones and Haliburton are good friends with Caitlin Clark and her boyfriend and former Indiana assistant coach, Connor McCaffery. Thanks to Haliburton's heroics, the Pacers are three games away from their first NBA Championship in franchise history. Haliburton only finished with 14 points, but the game's final deuce will be the remembered shot heading into Game 2 on Saturday night. It was Jones' boyfriends' fourth game-tying or game-winning shot of the postseason, with his second-straight Game 1 pivotal bucket. Last month, Haliburton's prayer from the perimeter that hit the back rim, floated in the air for around a second and swished in Madison Square Garden took the life out of the New York Knicks and had their Eastern Conference rivals on the back foot until their playoff ouster.

ATLANTA (AP) — Caitlin Clark says it's a great time to be a basketball fan in Indiana. It's enough to turn Clark, one of the state's biggest stars, into a fan during the NBA playoffs. Clark said before the Indiana Fever's WNBA game at the Atlanta Dream on Thursday night that she was so caught up in the Pacers' come-from-behind 138-135 overtime win at the New York Knicks on Wednesday night that she took video of her reaction to the signature play — Tyrese Haliburton's jumper that sent Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals into overtime. For now, Clark says she's keeping the video under wraps, even though she offered a tease. 'I have a video on my phone I'm never going to show anybody,' Clark said. 'I actually showed a few people. I videotaped myself like the final play and I have my reaction in real time. It's a pretty iconic video. Maybe one day everybody will see it, but no, not right now.' Clark said she regretted not getting video of herself when Haliburton made the game-winning layup in the Pacers' decisive 119-118 win over Milwaukee that sent Indiana to the East final. With her favorite NBA team in another close game, she seized the opportunity. 'I was in my hotel room,' Clark said. 'It's a good thing I had taken a nap earlier in the day so I could be able to stay up for overtime.' Clark's boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, just completed his first season as an assistant coach at Butler following a year working for the Pacers in basketball development. The two are following the Pacers' postseason closely. 'I mean, that team, they never give up,' Clark said. 'They find a way to defy the odds.
